Tamara Kristen Denny, who also uses the name Tamara High, surrendered to authorities March 3 in the embezzlement of more than $7,000 in cash and checks from Coastal Realty and Management. WILMINGTON -- A Carolina Beach woman is due in court this month on more than 45 felony counts related to the theft of money from her employer. Tamara Kristen Denny, who also uses the name Tamara High, surrendered to authorities March 3 in the embezzlement of more than $7,000 in cash and checks from Coastal Realty and Management Co., records show. Denny, 30, began work in November as an assistant to company owner Tammy Sanders. Sanders said she discovered that from December to February, Denny wrote checks to herself and forged Sanders' name on them. Denny is charged with 13 counts of felony forgery of instrument (check), 13 counts of felony forgery of endorsement, 13 counts of felony uttering a forged instrument, one count of felony larceny and one count of misdemeanor larceny. After surrendering on the warrants in early March, Denny was released from custody without bail the same day. But on March 6, she was arrested again on a charge of contempt for allegedly lying to the judge about her home address. According to the New Hanover County jail records, she was released on March 7, this time on GPS monitoring. Denny's next court date is set for April 26, according to New Hanover County court records.

I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta and my bones are very fragile if I trip I break. Sometimes just standing too long will break my bones. Both my elbows are dislocated and so is my wrist. I have alot of hardware in all of my limbs. My legs are 2 inches difference in length. Because of my disease I also have severe arthritis in every joint. I am currently living on a sailboat that needs alot of work. It is a center cockpit ketch. My goal is to get it painted rigged and the diesel running so I am able to go around scraping boat bottoms and fishing to be able to show my 6 year old son when he visits that his dad can work he doesn't have the disease and I want him grow up to see that daddy's dont only stay home and read good stories and cuddle. I want to work and I believe this will greatly improve my life and his. Possibly inspire many others disabled individuals to try gain their independence. On the 700 a month social security check I am not allowed to save money or have many resources. I want to own my own tiny home and a sailboat makes most sense. Because I would have little to no resistance in the water for my bones. It would allow me to live cheaply and more self sustaining with the goal of getting off social security and paying taxes. The boat needs a wheel and paint fiberglass work carpentry sails and all rigging drains in the cockpit. I would appreciate any help or donations I planned on doing it myself although I think I need help. And I am learning I am not as able as I was when I was younger I am almost 30 now.
