We are a research team affiliated with Fralin Biomedical Research Institute. Currently, we are looking for volunteers who are 18 years of age or older and in recovery from any substance addiction (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, drug). If you meet the inclusion criteria, please consider joining our research initiative, the International Quit & Recovery Registry (IQRR).
The IQRR is a part of Virginia Tech and approved by the Institutional Review Board. You can remain anonymous being an IQRR volunteer and complete compensated surveys about your recovery experience. There is no minimum commitment required. A great deal of research has been done on understanding addiction and developing more effective treatments, but little has been directed towards people who are in recovery and understanding their experiences. We believe that recovery is an inclusive process, and we welcome you to register and participate regardless of whether or not you are currently struggling.
You can learn more about the IQRR by contacting us. Please consider joining the IQRR to help us help others!
